The summer of 1976 presented Jerry Kaizer with an opportunity. A recent college graduate, he had spent the beginning part of his summer interviewing for a position teaching high school English. When his father, Murray Kaizer, called to ask him to help in the lab for two weeks he obliged. Now, over 40 years later, that two week temporary job is still going and his passion for dental technology continues to grow.
Outside of the laboratory Jerry is a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) for Carbon3D and Dentsply Sirona. He has helped to launch products with both companies, focusing on digital print materials, artificial teeth and acrylic denture bases.
Every morning Jerry walks into the laboratory and immediately feels how fortunate he is. Initially, his employment at the lab focused on expanding his technical skill set, but as time moved forward his background as an educator laid the foundation for educational growth at all levels of Murray Kaizer. Today, Jerry continues to focus on helping each technician develop proficiency in removable appliances. The passion and commitment to excellent craftsmanship that emanates from each technician began with Murray Kaizer and continues today. There are many hats that Jerry now wears as the sole proprietor, however his favorite moments are still spent at his bench creating smiles.
